Advanced Energy Industries, launched the LPP200 series of 200 W ultra-low-profile AC-DC power supplies. The power supplies have a profile of 0.75 inches (19 mm). They were developed to support miniaturization in medical and industrial devices, including patient monitors, displays, and infusion pumps.
The LPP200 series is certified to the EN/IEC/cUL60601-1 safety standard and designed for Type BF (Body Floating) medical applications. It is also certified to the EN/IEC/cUL62368 safety standard for ITE and industrial applications. The series meets high EMI and EMC performance requirements for demanding medical and heavy industrial environments.

Shane Callanan, vice president of Medical Products, System Power at Advanced Energy, stated that the LPP series addresses the trend for smaller, sleeker medical and industrial systems with limited space. He noted that the power supplies provide reliability along with EMI and EMC performance, allowing designers to reduce equipment size without performance trade-offs.
The series offers a power density of 33 W/in³ and a footprint of 2 x 4 x 0.75 inches. Voltage outputs range from 12 V to 48 V, with up to 200 W of output power available.
